Patrick Hutton (26, right, see www.PatrickHutton.com) and Richard Johnson (27, left) became good friends at University in 2008.

Aged 20, they set off with the aim of cycling over 2000 miles from London to Marrakech in a month, which was completed during their university summer break. In 2011 they paired up again to embark on another, more ambitious project... to cross the Gobi Desert by camel. Purchasing three Bactrian camels from a bemused Mongol farmer, the pair walked 1000km across the harsh outer Mongolian desert.

Patrick and Richard form a strong team, between them they have summited mountains in the Andes, cycled the length of China, navigated the entire Amazon river, completed an Ironman, filmed at extreme altitude in the Himalayas, climbed Kilimanjaro, cycled to Africa, cycled JOGLE, trekked the length of Sri Lanka, built a boat in the jungle, biked the length of Iceland, and even watched Vertical Limit from start to end!

Papua New Guinea Expedition. Patrick Hutton and Richard Johnson complete a human powered crossing from Vanimo to Daru, via the Star Mountains, Hindenburg wall and Fly River.
