PAPUA NEW GUINEA
EXPEDITION
AN UNMOTORISED CROSSING
In 2008 Richard and Patrick set off on a 2000 mile cycle from London to Marrakech. It took one month, cycling 80 miles per day through England, France, Spain and Morocco. They slept in £15 Argos tents next to the road, cooking on a small gas stove and trying to stay out of sight of the local population. After cycling through Mountains, rolling plains and searing Moroccan heat, they were relieved to pull into Marrakech exactly one month after setting off from Big Ben, London.
